I see it on the Pioneer, but where did you get it? HDTracks? Elsewhere?

So, begs the question, what good is it to have MQA compatibility if you can't get the music files...

@swesko clearly showed he has a file in format "MQA Studio", from Tidal (offline), playing on his Pioneer... seems rather unambiguous to me that you can do it?

So, you can access Tidal and download? (I have Tidal, but it allows 3 players the ability to download for offline listening unless you pay even more for the service. My 3 players are accounted for with my wife, daughter, and my phone, but I suppose I can drop my phone and add my Pioneer for this and give it a try).

(the same topic is out there on high resolution files-and cables, and amps, for that matter; most that I've read think there is a benefit sonically from MQA and hi-rez. Can't judge for yourself without being able to access them...)

tidal mqa on pioneer xdp300

I have found if you use your pc to "favourite" the masters album, then access that favourite via your tidal app on the pioneer, then you are playing the mqa wrapped version ( not fully decoded). but as for downloading from a pc.. then its a mystery.
Hopefully Swesko isnt just gloating and will explain how this is possible..Because as far as i can see its not possible without a dedicated and as yet unidentified program.

From a SWESKO post on another topic..

"the android app does stream MQA, if i open UAPP and play my albums (i chose them from the masters album list on the desktop app) well they play @ 24bit 48Khz so yea MQA is enabled and even my Mojo turns Orange indicating 48Khz"
