Sure looks like it. A friend of mine lives in Middlesex. I added his address to my address book and tried ordering another and shipping there. I got the same message....

I would bet the reason is to prevent circumventing the EU volume limit.

It would seen more random than that. I can add CDs, games, and a toaster. I can't add the Pioneer, a PS4, Panasonic TV, or ... a hair dryer.
 
Now hair dryers can be quite loud, but not sure they are covered by the EU volume limit

I think it's just internal storage. Just buy the 300R as it's newer.

I've tried the HE400i on the balanced output on the 300R as well as the SE through my Oppo HA2, when amping with the HA2 the soundstage becomes much wider and airier. Didn't noticed much different when using my FLC8s tho.

What about with iem's?  I'll be pairing this with a pair of Vegas.

Only tried the FLC8S but I can't hear much difference. But I am not good at hearing difference in IEMs.

Yes, afaik these are the 3 differences:
- 32GB vs. 64GB
- Bigger/better capacitors on the DP-X1A
- GUI
 
So it is up to you if you think this is worth the price difference. Haven't seen much comparison yet.

I've gone for it using tenso.com as delivery address who then ship to your UK address, worked out at £245 with 5,000 yen coupon, so with 20%import and assuming £50 shipping should come out about £350, still a massive saving. Fingers crossed it goes to plan!

Wifimedia can't deliver the case and screen protector because Pioneer EU don't have them (yet). According to them the case of the XDP-100R should fit.
