Thanks for that Amadeo. Agree with you. The PSU makes the sound a bit more transparent, but also improve the low-end, being more tactile and clean. Separation and imaging are leveling up too.
NP audio made a full service, parts replacements and components upgrade on my Calyx M. 6 stars service.
Yes, this hobby is about deep diving into pockets, trial and error, tenacity, experimenting, widening knowledge and building network. It requires time and patience. Frustration might occur along the way. The result of my very own search is the stack displayed above.
No truer words said...this is a good convo I had with a musician friend the other day. It's like Legos, you build and tear down---and build again. The satisfaction of this hobby, for me, is trying different combinations of rigs and frankenstacks and see what 'wow' moments can be achieved from tinkering around with gear. Those who stay in for the long haul do this...always curious to see what bliss can be achieved with what you got (or can get).
Man I never get tired of this audio candy store! Every page is a feast for the eyes, too bad I can't afford to say the same for my ears Guess I'll just have to be satisfied with my oldies
