Great album! My last try to get a really high end pocket-able combo !!! (I wished a better sound quality than any TWS, but nearest Go Blu/BTR7 as possible)
Source : Galaxy Z Fold 4 + Qobuz/Neutron + PowerAMP EQ (Harman 2019v2 autoEQ selected)
Amp & BT Receiver : iFi Go Pod (@LDAC 990Kbps mode)
IEM : Sony IER-M9
...
I would say, the sound quality is almost there .. but comfort and user interface, there is clearly room for improvements as it is still not at the level I wished.

An old friend DX90, I hope that DAP manufacturers bring the user-replaceable battery back, maybe 18650 batteries pack like Cayin C9

How do you like the Hiby? Does it have enough power? How do you like the UI?
Hiby R6pro2, Oriolus Traillii JP (in the case) and a gray cat.
iPhone Bluetooth to Fiio M6 into WM6DC out to GH40 JM.
Portable-ish set up. More on the go Mixtape making. Fidelity is not the goal and just a bit of fun.

As wide and varied as my music is, 'dance' music has never really been my thing, but I've come to realise that drum & bass is the most exhilarating, energising music for me. Being 50 and an early riser the club scene clashes with my lifestyle - the MDR-Z1R's 70mm drivers driven by the iFi Gryphon, with a boost from the XBass function is giving me the next best thing.

I'll be 46 in a few weeks and have loved Drum n Bass since the mid 90s. It's one of the orignial sounds of our slice of the generation! I'm an early riser these days, but there was a time when I was more apt to go to sleep at the same 5:00 hour that I wake up at these days, lol. I'll also say, seeing someone laud those big Sonys with Drum n Bass has planted that seed in my head - I'm a HUGE fan of the IER Z1R. Listening to this now and it's making me smile. Hope you're having a lovely SundayAs wide and varied as my music is, 'dance' music has never really been my thing, but I've come to realise that drum & bass is the most exhilarating, energising music for me. I ADORE it. The unabashedly warm tuning of the thing pairs so nicely with IEMs and my prefered styles of music. I can't recommend it enough.Thoughts on the M6U?
Having said that, I understand there are WiFi connectivity issues, but all I listen to is local files on the SD card with no EQ via UAPP and I can't say enough positive things about the setup.

That's brilliant, thank you for sharing!

It's a great player. I posted my brief impressions in the profile thread, you can see them there. How do you like the Hiby? Does it have enough power? How do you like the UI?
As for the power, I don't know. Compared to various semi-desktop monsters like Cayin C9, it's not enough. But if you use it as a player and not instead of a desktop device, it's enough. I don't see any point at all in a player that will provide a few watts of power. For what? I have one DAP that has even less than one watt per channel, and it is very difficult to use it for its intended purpose - for IEMs - because of the extremely high sensitivity of the volume wheel.
As for the UI, Hiby came from a UI development background. So there are no problems with that.
The only thing I don't like is the ergonomics, in particular, the placement of the control keys on the left side in the form of two buttons in the middle of the case. You need to get used to picking up the player from the table not by the center of gravity, because then you will definitely press a button.
