I recently commented about enjoying this thread for the contrast of both wallet-emptying-second-mortgage TOTL gear, and budget/low-cost items being appreciated, and also the experimentation of stacking etc. I would like to add to that the sharing of where and how they are being experienced - we all come here from different places around the world, even different regions of the same country, in different seasons, enjoying our shared hobby. Around the house, in the garden, in a cafe, the enjoyment of music and your way of experiencing it - nice.
I just loaded some new albums onto my WM1Z and am about hang the washing out, I'll spare you all the photo of my 1Z/IER-Z1R with a laundry backdrop - enjoy your weekend all
Forgotten 4BA gem (Oriveti O400) and surprise of the year (Juzear 41T) are complementary sets that will be trusted companions of my AK stack (SR35/PA10) for the upcoming holidays. All bases covered. The expensive stuff remain at home, and I most likely won’t miss them that much

It’s not the snappiest DAP of the world, but I have zero complaints. The SR35 is a nice little DAP, with a neutralish signature with a hint of warmth and presence in the lower end. I have it permanently stack with the AK PA10 amp, which transforms the SR35 into a fantastic player.
From AliExpress - just type « IEMs case » in the search engine and you eventually will land on many vendors selling this kind of case, single, dual or even quadri spaces available.
Kennerton carrying case (came with my recent version of the Kennerton Vali), Hiby R5 with stock tpu case, iFi Go Bar (Xbass and Xspace absolutely always on, standard red filter), Luxury & Precision WP2 USB cable, Neumann NDH20 Black Edition, balanced Mogami Spiral Twin headphone cable from Fog City Audio, and a rubber band from a piece of broccoli, snipped into two smaller bands.

I was actually planning on trying out some sticky adhesive type stuff, but as soon as I tried the rubber bands, I just fell in love with the ergonomics of it. The bands create a kind of curve around the Go Bar and the edge of the R5, that fits perfectly into the palm of my hand. One question I have for the portable enthusiast crowd in this thread:
Where can I buy some high quality silicone bands small enough to be suitable for a little pocket micro stack like this? Silicone bands are better than normal rubber bands, right?
