The Vocal Cable is the very definition of synergy with the ISN H40, scary good. In many ways I can’t put into words why it’s so great, as it just is. Maybe it’s vocal (area) push, though probably something more? Crazy good! I can appreciate how your plans are to leave the two joined up for a long, long time! A new melty grilled cheese sandwich of bewitchin' steampunk-ish stacking' wizardry in the attempt to do something fun and different. Going with two different twists on the optical cable on the the AK Kann Alpha > IFI iDSD Black Label > Focal Elegia set-up...Braided optical cable + adapters and 1/4 to 3.5 adapters from Amazon. Let's try some new ways of doing things and see what kinds of crazy we can come up with like back in the early days of Head-fi !!! I have been on many flights over the years and have had fellow flyers or flight attendants come and ask me about my rigs over the years. It's cool having something that stands out that could possibly bring others into the hobby!

Japanese version of Sony ZX-707 and Blessing 3
I have M17 DAP but was looking for something that’s pocketable. I am in Japan for vacation and have spent hours at e-earphone a multi story audio store. Listened to different DAPs and I’m okay with Sony house of sound and I love the aesthetics of the device. Japanese edition have higher power it seems (as per store person) so I just went ahead and got one.
It sounds fantastic with Blessing 3 hence got those as well.

That's what I am talking about...Frankenstackin' is fun and cumbersome at times, but 100% worth it when you dont skimp on good sound trying to fit every damn thing in your pocket.I never thought I would walk around with a sandwich like that
But being low on mobile data and want to make use of my music on Shanling M6 Pro while still enjoying G5's sound I was forced to Frankenstein the crap out of what I have available at the moment
