I was looking at Trekstor Vibez as well. When Rio folded, many engineers went to Trekstor and the Vibez can be seen as a continuation of the Rio MP3 line. But I found a Rio Karma in good condition, with only some small scratch on the screen, and then I just had to buy it.

I usually EQ my MP3 players, but the Karma sounds great with a flat EQ setting. If I EQ the bass up, it becomes too much. I'd say that the Rio beats my Cowon S9 in SQ. Sometimes newer isn't the same as "better"...

Totally agree! That Karma is a great find. I hope it lasts a long time for you.

Very cool!  I'd like to see more Android devices not be left out in the cold because of iDevices taking the limelight (and I don't really like iDevices).

Troll Dragon, how did you get the head-fi graphic on your Sansa? That's pretty cool

Gotta be Rockboxed...lol. I like it!

Yeah it's Rockboxed, and Rockbox comes with a graphic viewer.
If anyone wants the image it's a bitmap for the Clip+ as the screen is only only monochrome.

Just go to the Files menu and select the picture image to display it.

iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3... which one takes the sound quality trophy?

Doesn't matter to a head-fier because unless you've got $600 to drop on a DAC or DAC/amp combo (VAMP, HP-P1, CLAS), you're better off picking up a Pico used and offloading digital audio from an S3. Or even better, get the new Apex Glacier and save $100 for a DAC that is 90% as good and an impeccably clean, Pete Millet, TTVJ-designed, stepped-attenuator-based amp section with vastly more voltage swing :)

Are there any comparisons between the glacier, alo rx mk3, and uha-6s mkii? I heard that the pico doesn't work properly with the gs3.

Uh...lol it totally does. I use it every day as my permanent porta-rig. I posted it in this thread like a page ago xD...
