Wow. Finally, someone has the DAC cable and Arrow 4G together. Before that DragonFly came out, I would have thought this would be one killer of a transportable set up. How are you liking it?

Is the arrow too powerful for normal IEMs, or is the 75ohm adapter there to tweak the sound?

I ordered dac cable during my long waiting time to receiving arrow
if you already have an amp, I think that headstage dac will be your best choice under the 100$

arrow deals great with IEMs. the point to using resistant is that it tweak the sound in some way; some one says that such resistant can neutralize the sound ( some one believe that too much, but I don't)

It has a PCM2707 + WM8740 inside. I have an early version of it and it is okay. Won't say it is the greatest under $100 but it is small and convenient.

Yup, it sure is. "The cable uses Texas Instrument's PCM2707 USB transmitter which sends the I²S digital data to the Wolfson WM8740 high-end DAC. The ultra-low noise AD8656 is used to buffer the DAC. Only selected 1% resistors and low distortion capacitors are used in the audio path for the best sound quality." Paired with the Headstage Arrow 4G I think it sounds fantastic, listening to Electronica such as Basilisk.

The A161's are surprisingly good.  I really love the sweet and aggressive upper mids.  The one thing they are missing for me is more treble presence.  They sound very good from my iphone but even better from the leckerton.  My review is linked in my sig.

Just acquired the Headstage Arrow 3G and loving the sound. It just makes those K550s sing. It was just what the Doctor ordered.
