I do not remember most of the rigs in this thread, but I bet my $100 here is a better rig with the components well matched.

I'd be willing to bet that a Digizoid ZO would make those lovely headphones sound a lot better than the FiiO E5 does.

I haven't really tested them with an amp all that much.  Just straight out of my two devices and they sound fantastic without.  Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

meh, don like p1000 with any amp, portable or home, so i'm going to have to agree. not trying to argue, just making a point.
