MMGs are the best speaker value out there, IMO. I unfortunately had to sell mine recently, but they're fantastic.

I'm considering a pair of Quad 21L2s for the future.

I've read that you need to keep the MMGs far away from walls so as to not get sound reflection.. True? What did you use to power them? Are they a hungry speaker?

They're very hungry (the one downside). I used a pair of UPA-1 Mono blocks which came in at 700 bucks for the pair. Sounded great...and yes they need their space. I'd recommend 2 feet from all walls and furniture (some say more) if possible.

iPod 5G 30GB Rockboxed > Fiio L9 > Fiio E7 > Ultrasone HFi-780

The Fiio band is actually just a bumper so when I lay the pair down, they don't get scratched up. They stick together with sticky tack which surprisingly works very well.

All stored in a Pelican case (iM2050)

Looks very nice. You're very careful with your stuff, that's what I like to see. Nice pictures too.

Thanks!
I don't have a whole lot of money so when I buy something, I do anything I can to make them last as long as they can :)
