Now its time for the loysy joke: You should rename it model "seven-eleven", since at least seven of eleven guys counts that there is only six cables on in.

I find it funny that Jude had to hand count it himself.

Something tells me Ken gets his motivation from Gillette.

Does this mean that my Silver Six Shooter has 7 leads also? Not as easy to count them, they're in a neat-o tube.

What you saw there is a special 1 of a kind cable if I'm not mistaken. I don't think that it was ever called a Cyro Six Shooter except by reference via Andrea. It doesn't have an official name, nor was it offered publically on the website (as far as I know), unlike the Silver Six Shooter.

It is actually very flexible, bending easily. Here's a photo:

With respect to strain relief: The cable doesn't wiggle at the points where it joins the plug bodies--at all. I asked Ken about this, and, if I recall correctly, he said he fills the plugs up with a special dielectric epoxy, serving to both help prevent oxidation, and to keep things from moving inside. So as far as what's going on in the plugs, nothing should be moving in there either.

Thanks for picture and info jude, I've been using epoxy (or actually acrylic glue) for plugs too.

Hey Mrarroyo,

I have been making all manner of tricked out LODs and cables that we dont sell on the website. Anyone can email for the tricked out wares, we have up to a 12 wire in the flat weave. I am working on adding a special page for these kinds of cables but sadly have been too busy get around to it.

Thx
