No, it's six.

And where would the seventh lead go anyway?

Two for right, two for left, two for ground. Six.

nineohtoo is right.

Very nice LOD.

LOL.

Okay, guys, I did the physical count of the cables this morning, and it is indeed seven. Sorry about that.

Well, it made for a fun game anyway.

Perhaps we should cut those lines apart with cutter, so it would be easier to count?

(No, just kidding, it really seems very nice.

)

Is it hard to bend, I mean is those single cables stiff? I should make a new cable between iPod and amp, and I'm a little worried to get smooth cable enought that it wouldn't put a strain to connectors.

OK, but now the real question: why 7?

Hey Guys,

Yes 2 per signal and 3 for ground -> seven. Its better to have a slightly lesser impedance on the ground hence the 3rd conductor.

Thx!
Ken

Well there ya go, straight from the horse's mouth!

But Ken, you're the guilty party! You should be calling them 7-Shooters! Not as smooth off the tongue I suppose.

Finished the flight; had no problem at all with airport security or anything about the amp.
Now the problem was staying awake to listen to the stuff, because I'd only gotten 3 hours of sleep and a 1 hour nap before getting on the flight
