Looks like the current setup will be undergoing some serious Upgrades in the Very near Future!

Only thing that is really bugging me is that the the cradle for it is not yet available in Moscow

and iRiver Russia are one of the worst distributors i know of when it comes to information of upcoming products ...

yeah the archos is a bit colored in mid-mids and upper mid get a bit reverbed. i still prefer it over the iriver bassy sound and sometime harsh treble though.

the karma i heard it was good but i didnt like the sound signature, it sound kinda thick and raw. (maye i said thick because the size of the player remind me of it). i like the smooth ipod sound more. actaully ipod the most idla sounding hd player i heard so far, and no lacking bass for me either. so anything with the akg sound i like.

My recently purchased rig: Beyer DTX900 with an iRiver iHP-140 running Rockbox.

I think they sound good for the price, unfortunately I have little else to compare them too until I can drum up the money for some better phones. For me they're more than adequate for portable use, my only complaint is that they're a little flimsy.

My iHP-120 (without any paint), MS-1's, KSC 75's, and my little comy amp.



I usaully try to alternate which one I use but my MS-1's usaully get more use just because they are more fun to listen to.
