I read a great tip once about setting toe-in: imagine a virtual line going straight out from the front of your speakers, then aim the speakers so those lines meet at the back wall directly behind your listening position.  I've had good results setting up like this.

It's not though...Does it look that severe on the photos? It's really not that hard an angle.

I feel trolled at this point. lol

EDIT: I even used a ruler and stuff this time ;~;
EDIT2: Made it even less severe. They're almost straight out at this point. This is way different from positioning other speakers.

I'm STILL going to give you flack for that toe-in... it's even more aggressive than before!  surely you don't want the left speaker aimed past your right ear, and vice-versa?  :D

Not sure if the three monitors would fit on my desk, but those Dynaudio's would be right at home on my Ikea Jerker's swivel shelves.

Give me a single 30* Dell over any number of smaller monitors chained together, but Dell charges serious cash for that monster. Still, dreams are free,

They look small in the picture, but that's actually a 6 ft table and 27" 2560x1440 screens.

The 30" Dell will do 2560x1600, but thats academic - you own your monitors and mine are only attached to that killer gaming rig in my head. Enjoy all that screen real estate - I suspect that it would do my head in to be bombarded with that many pixels.

I by far prefer my 30'' Dell (3007-HC) with dual 15'' secondaries, to having multiple large screens.  I suppose it depends on your application - I enjoy video and games on my large screen, while usually only documents, music players, and e-mail clients are open on my other two screens

I own that 30" Dell (3008WFP). It's great for what it is, but if I had the space, I'd take 3x27" (or even 3x24") any day.

@somebodysb2, You're entertainment priorities are obvious, but I have to say, that's the first time I've ever seen an HDTV.. on the floor. intentionally.

Actually, the wall mount hasn't arrived yet. This setup is quite a downgrade from my previous one though.

Well in my old place there was actually a guy that came down to complain, but at that very moment I was playing a Stradivarius CD and he just stopped and stood there to listen.

That set-up made me feel like I was listening to a pair of iBuds amplified by a tin can.
