I'm glad they did that. I won't be picking one up anytime soon but the gold looked really tacky, IMO.

You are right Maxvla, thats why i tighten to my Rack
 
Today i just got my RCA from Nanotech with Special Shielding and all my power Cable also with special shielding. All Cables are custom made
 
The Result no distorsion in Sound Quality . More detail in  the High , very tight and detail Bass , very sweet and lush Mid 
 
Minus : only big size of Diametre for my Cable

I quiver in fear when my 4 Pin adapters hang from my 1/4" plug. I can't imagine that scenario there.

Thats why this set up is not so flexible , i must sit at the same position , can not move so easily like the Stock cable.
