I want your setup.  It's amazing.

My setup might qualify for this thread now, although I need a good pair of bookshelf speakers for the WA5.

The look and sound is why I buy so many McIntosh gear. Good stuff!

New setup...

Heard this system yesterday. Such a lovely sound - warm, musical, and absolutely non-fatiguing while retaining world-class detail and articulation. Superb sense of dynamics and impact while at very moderate listening levels. Very impressed. Hard to say how much can be accredited to the BAT electronics vs. the transducers (Koetsu & Harbeth), but there's no doubt they work great together! I can see how this setup is so addicting.

I had a Mac Preamp a couple years back, that I sold to fund some other stuff.  I'd love to get a MC275 and a C220/C2300.  Maybe down the road when I stop spending all this money on headphones!

McIntosh has a decent resale value too. Much better than any other brands.

Thanks Mike, dialed in the speakers and the SS is quite a bit deeper now.

Nice setup Tom. Not a fan of YG gear..expensive for no good reason. The harbeth on the other hand..man..i love them to bits!

They do several things much better than (and some not as good as) the harbeths.  So far the majority of people who have come by when the YGAs are setup right, have preferred them over the Harbeths. i prefer ther Harbeths, but they do sound a little slow and veiled compared to the Carmels.
