When your apartment is smaller than 500 sq. ft. its all about quality over quantity. Sorry about the crappy iPhone pics.

Cans: HD800 and Stax SR-009.
Stat Amp: Stax T1
Dynamic Amp/DAC/Preamp - Balanced RWA Isabella

I had to pull the A/V rack out of it's little nook to take this picture.

I've always had my "rig" at my desk, only now my apartment is too small to have a desk. That being said, I kind of like having it next to the couch. If you can get WAG approval its not a bad way to go.

Very nice. I would HIGHLY recommend replacing your T1 with a new amp, though. Also, are you using any type of power conditioning product? I don't think Con Ed is known for clean AC...

why don't you just sell your car and spend your money more sensibly?

T,

Now you're talking priorities!

Funny you mention that. The 009 purchase was paid for in part from the proceeds of selling my car. There isn't a whole lot of need to own a car in Manhattan.

The Bryston is out of the rack replaced by a Reimyo DAP999 DAC. Working on moving my music library to MAC using AIFF format.

The vibrations from the floor from the speakers will affect the music.
