And also you getting 3 items for $10,000.00. I bet just the amp/dac alone cost only $6000.00

I've seen the HEV 90 alone sell for $10,000 to $20,000 more than a few times. Paired with the HE 90, I've seen it go for absurd prices well above that. Of course, there are plenty of instances the original Orpheus system has sold for (more) sane prices as well. You can see some of the used market history on these links. (Click the sold / expired listings.)

The only Orpheus system I see on eBay at the moment is listed for $30,000. I think (for those so inclined toward such an endeavor) it makes more sense to just go for the HE 90 by itself and pair it with a HeadAmp Aristaeus, since it's basically an improved aftermarket version of the HEV 90 and is just $4K. (Unless one wants to go down the arduous DIY T2 route.)

I've heard the Sennheiser hev90 and it's not terribly impressive; there are better sounding options for the he90: a Head-amp Aristaeus, or DIY T2 since we're already here in unobtanium fantasy land. I actually have a DIY hev90 "Balanced" that sounds really great with 009 / L700; very close to the Carbon / BHSE level, and perhaps even more musical to some ears -- i.e. it sounds like how I wish the KGST had sounded.

The hev90 at least looks extremely good; much better than the new HE-1 amp.

I never listened to the hev90's DAC; I don't think anyone's taken that seriously since the new millennium started...which is indicative of the problem with packaging a DAC inside a high-end tube amp.

Yea those numbers looks about right. Not doubting. Plus it's Germany sales I notice?
It depends on the person and so forth last year on eBay someone sold one for $10.000.00USD on the dot. I was going from that 2016 sale.... And from that subtract the headphone from the amp = $6000.

I also have something here too.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/STAX-SRM-T2-SPS-T2-the-amplifier-T2/301382820194/?_ul=BY

Convert that = $19800.00 from 2014

http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/STAX-SRM-T2-SPS-T2-with-SR-OMEGA-T2-Omega-/301757062010

$23,000.00 about

Hope the link works

^ now THAT's a big boy rig! What a lovely looking dedicated room.

I had the 2nd half of my upgrades arrive -- new rack and turntable; upgraded amps. The rack is...absurdly priced, but wow I love it. No more having the rack being the junky part of my system. No more fearing for the life of my stylus/woofers when people trample around it while the system is playing at high volume.

Very musical system. VERY musical. No boring "audiophile" music playlist here.

This is my system. PC->Schiit Yggdrasil DAC->Schiit Ragnarok Amp-> KEF LS50 speakers or Hifiman HE-6 headphones.
My current livingroom is tiny so to me the LS50 is the perfect speaker. I got my end game(until i move to a bigger place..)
Everything in the 3D render is in scale. just didn't bother positioning the gear perfectly =P
