Pictures metaphoring the sound of your headphones

I haven't tried them, sorry bud. But This is what swbf2cheater has to say about the soundstage on the 598s:

Quote:
The soundstage is staggering, angled drivers FOR THE WIN.  No, I did not find it to be as big as the AD700.  This is a bit exaggerated if you ask me, the AD700 seemed noticeably more tall.  However, thats where it ended.  The HD 598 is without question more wide and textured, more layered and with a hell of a lot more detail and separation.  The overall soundstage is wider than tall, but again, the height is still extremely tall so you shouldnt find it lacking at all.  It is definitely the best soundstage experience I have ever owned outside of the T1.  Imaging is fantastic, the soundstage is definitely one of the biggest available for such a price and as A SOUNDSTAGE NUT BAR...I fell in love with the hd 598 instantly.  Coming from the DT770 Luke Skybeyer and flowing right into this was a godsend to me...the stage is excellent. Nuff' said.

I couldn't agree more. I do most of my listening split between my Linn speakers and my 598s at home and I have zero complaints in terms of soundstage when I plug in for some personal listening.

Thats a pretty accurate description. Although I reckon that what photo we choose is probably heavily influenced by the colour of the housing of the headphone/IEM.

I was looking for a pic for the HDJ-2000 with a more well distributed bottom end, but wound up getting distracted somehow...

Fostex t50rp.

Beautiful vocals, natural, better suited to virtual sound due to the way fostex design these headphones they made the delivery of the soundwaves like virtual sound but for the headphone it makes it sound spacious more upfront with the sound waves and vibrant as it always gets your attention.

@OP: may I suggest you to rename the thread to smth like "Pictures metaphoring the sound of your headphones"? This will attract more attention to it for the thread health. I like it!

I am not sure if you can buy these in russia but then the t50rp sound is nice to put it bluntly, it does better than the dt880 with audio positioning it is more of a complete circle with the design and shape and such.
