just my 2c...

received them after two days of placing the order. had them for about two weeks and used them for about four hours.

I have mixed feeling about these 'phones; I like the details, and the bass (not too warm, not too cold) wouldn't like more, but I wished the sound was a bit more forward. maybe coming from the AKG K319 which have such an open sound in comparison the PFE is like listening thru an open window. it definitely needs time to get accustomed to the sonud. also the pace seems somewhat slow (for lack of better word), remarkably I didn't find myself tapping my foot on the floor once.

however, I had a two hours bus journey to do, and the PFE made the journey a LOT more pleasing and relaxing - these 'phone are ideal for long journeys imo.

Im not sure they're for me though

AAAAAAAAH
My left earpiece is cracked too! I bought them from the German website horen mit fiebing. I send a email to them to see if they will repair or replace them.
(I also posted a litle longer version of this post in the Phonak Audeo PFE thread).

Cheers,

Frank

Everyone,

Thanks for all your posts regarding the Audeo PFE!! We are really overwhelmed with the positive response.

With regard to defects, please remember that the Audeo PFE does have a 2 year warranty. Of the thousands of PFEs in use, the defect return rate remains very, very small. We will continue to replace any defective phones as buyers have issues.

We have been very liberal with our return/replacement policies and we intend to continue to focus on providing the best customer service possible.

If you have specific questions or concerns, please send me a PM.

Bill

Thanks, Bill.

That's why I'm not too worried about them getting cracked cuz I know if they break within two years, I could have it warrantied anyway. It's good to know that you guys are behind that all the way.

I don't have my box with me right now, on spring break. Update that later
I have the same crack as Merlin-PT on the left phone, maybe slightly smaller, but the placement and even angle are the same.

It seems very few people have bought the white pair. I know I avoided them because they reminded me of ibuds. Are there no reports of problems with the white ones just because they are fewer of them?

^ yeah, they don't have a huge soundstage. It's bigger than the Ety's, but it's not their strong suit.
