SHE3580, SHE9700, SHE8500, SHE3680....etc, etc

It's a jungle out there, so here's a Philips IEM spotting guide to help you nail down which one you have.

wow am surprised at the love for such cheap IEMs!
Anyone here compared these with Mele M6s?

Haven't heard the m6 myself but a search for threads here on "m6 3580" mostly turns up people ditching the former for the latter

The ER-4P have long since come back from repair, and are sitting there gathering dust.

I'll give ya 20 bucks for your old and broken Etymotic ER-4.

Then you can buy two more of these lil gems...

Come On, Whadya say? Shoot me a PM.

They have broken after a few months for others but mine had kept trucking for a whole year and I only lost my original pair when I actually lost them, as in misplaced them.  I think people need to learn proper cable handling technique.

They have lasted longer than the etys...

They really are broken though, they broke again after the last repair.

I don't know what's with me and the etys.  They hate me and now I don't like them.

What about their build quality? because i saw them at shop and they look fragile.
I would buy them but im afraid that the cable will brake if i would sleep having them on.

I've slept with them on, several nights,   ...woke up one morning nearly choked to death by them cables wrapped around my neck ! The IEMs got yanked out of my ears otherwise I wouldn't be here typing this
biggrin.gif

...I'll say they're tough enough.

Man, why is it that i only find this thread, after buying an used UE Super.Fi 5vi on craiglist!
If only i didn't promise my wife that i won't increase the number of headphone/set i currently using, 6.
and i'm finding these for $6.99 at my local Marshall and TJ Maxx stores!
i'm buying a set of 3575 for my sister's use, very tempted to bust it out and try it myself before handing it to her

I love these phones, they are amazing value for the price. These along with the Monoprice imo are the best deals in the headphone arena.
I bought another pair from Target on clearance price, $10 or so, so I got two pairs, and as they seem to be discontinued Ebay does not have much stock left as well.
Highly recommended, the mids are good, the bass is amazing, treble is right to the touch. Became my favorite iems at the office.
