Huge fan of UE700s, definitely one of my favorites. Phiaton PS200s is going to be sound more bassy, warm, and have a bloated stereo sound signature, while the UE700s are going to be more analytical.

But as another head-fier said, not a fan of UE durability.

the sound is not warm at all.. and surely not bassy..
the bass is very tight when you get a good seal and the sound is very clear and detailed..
like a surround sound signature.. not stereo at all...
+ the cable is not as thick as you might think.. maybe thinker than UEs.. but the same as the MEElec M9 
 
the seal on the M9 is better than the Phiaton.. even with a perfect seal on the phiaton .. you can still hear a lot from outside..
