For what it's worth,, I spoke with Marcus at PS Audio about the display showing it was playing 16/44 while playing a known 24/96 Herbie Hancock Joni track and Marcus said there's a bug in the display,, should be remedied with future firmware. Asked him when we can expect gapless as well.. patience,, patience. Have about a 200 hrs on my unit mostly playing Network Bridge from our 4 JRiver 17 Libraries. Plus I2s feed from a Wyred4sound Music Server 2TB Flac although the Bridge has the edge in overall presentation, soundstaging, and detail.

My Mk2 upgrade board arrived. I'll watch the video again and maybe get around to installing it this weekend (fingers crossed).

A new (stable) version of 'PerfectWave DAC Controller', version 2.0, has been released.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pwdcontrol/
To improve performance, it now uses the UPnP interface, to communicate with PWD.

Is there a controller that works with iPhone/iPod?

Cool, I'll definitely give this a try. I also perused your thread on the PS Audio forums; the folks there seem to like your software!

Does anyone know about any current updates on gapless playback via the Bridge? I know that eLyric can support gapless playback. How about JRiver and FooBar?

Should get my PWD MK2 in a couple of weeks. Good thing is I'll be able to test out a fully loaded Empirical Off-Ramp 5 to see how much better, if at all, coax/I2S is than USB.
Also wanted to compare it to the Ref7.1.

Cool,
Would like to know how good the OR5 works with the PWD. If there is any SQ improvements to be had.

Hey prep. Which firmware does your MK2 have? I'm stuck with 2.2 unfortunately since I got a new one. Hopefully PS Audio releases different versions of the older fw's that work with new units...fingers crossed.

I'm at 2.0.2. What version do you want to be at?

Either the 2.0.2 or 2.0.3. You're in a good place.

I would add the love for 2.02/3 isn't unanimous among reviewers. Not that I can try the lower firmware, but the focus of the 2.20 is really nice with the LCD-3.
