Am I the only one who feels that this video is a little ridiculous ? I mean, not only does PS audio's website looks like it's been inspired by Apple's website, now they're having keynotes to introduce "revolutionary" products asking rhetorical questions such as "wouldn't it be nice if..." and saying things like "and I'd like to show you their reaction to this new device" (it no longer is a big, steamy, clunky DAC, it's a "device"). And all that wrapped up in a webpage full of marketing fluff like "Fortunately music’s details have been more faithfully recorded than we ever suspected, but the cover-up of those recorded details has been with us for more than 30 years.   Happily, the missing musical information is still buried deep within our audio libraries—waiting to be revealed."

Please don't take this wrongly, I'm all in for technical and design / UI innovation, but it's just a DAC for goodness' sake and I'd rather like to see measurements on their webpage.

The product is ground breaking and it was done in a very organized manner. Go to there forums , the people there are very intelligent way beyond me. The product not only sounds amazing and cheap compared to 30 k dacs , but makes all inputs sound the same as well as not having to use expensive cables anymore. A cheap rats hack cable sounds the same as audio quest diamond that cost 750 . Usd. That is ground breaking. To me. .

I have little doubt that they're well-made "devices", it's just the marketing wrapping that I find over the top to the point of making me laugh as if I was watching a bad impersonation of Steve Jobs (the forced laugh at the beginning had me in stitches even before he started talking). At least it's better than the utterly bland MSB tech videos that look like they've been made on Super 16 in a kitchen.

Lmao. Yes there funny to watch. But many new products do the same videos. Ps audio has gone one step further with a you tube channel and a dedicated forum as well. .

I think given it is small company it's pretty well done. Another good point it's all made here in the USA , that means something to me too.

And now, for something completely different, part 2, where a man featuring a shirt / short combination that the snotty, pretentious, vain, appallingly futile parisian in me would consider as a fashion cataclysm, says a lot of things that are sort of interesting :

Yes Ted. A really nice guy with fashion issues . How about there is other videos of him on other dates with the same shirt. Maybe it's a distraction from what he saying LMAO

if you want to see really bad video google the MSB DAC videos , they make ps audio look like an epic movie event. Watch it. There are two people one is Vince sales manger nice guy but has that star thing going on. And the other guy is like Ted. And has this thing with his hands. Funny stuff.

They list as 2 remaining so... who knows.  The DSD version replaces everything but the case so it's not so much an upgrade as a whole new DAC.

There are a couple of dealers on Audiogon with PWD / Bridge for $2450 so I agree the new starting value is the $2K for the PWD.  I used one like mine probably half that.  Don't you love what technology does to value of DACs!!!!

Feel free to dump yours now, I'm waiting for the PWD2 to not exist new before trying to sell it.  At that point someone can buy my PWD2 at the more normal perhaps higher rate or bend over for a PWD DS at three times the price.  The reality is the PWD DS isn't a mark 3, it's a whole new beast.  Nothing but the case was kept so if you want the PWD2 sound... you won't find it in the PWD DS.
