4GB RAM? It's the same price as 8GB RAM, so why pay $50 for it when you can get an 8GB from a better company

You can get better parts, and self choose your case, RAM, CPU etc.

Considering you have to go through a rebate, I wouldn't say its a good deal

I went on Pcpartpicker and found out that the bundle costs less (after rebate of course) than picking parts.

Maybe I'll buy better parts to replace some of the bundle items.

Then I'll save the rest to make something crappy, maybe...

Even though there's more customization from self pick, it does cost more...

YUP pc part picker is greaet for building a rig, but when it comes to prize. amazon and New Egg news letters are going to be your best bet. Part Picker is just a check list for me

Oh, that's what it was. If you're gone get an i7K, then why just skimp on a cooler for a OC? If you're OCing I would go i5K and get a fauncy CLC or custom loop.

There were a few internal ones as well but no matter....pop open the externals, put the int in desky, and sell all the extra parts as a DIY external enclosure stuff on ebay/amazon =profit

Another thing you need to beware of is some of those WD ext hard drives and especially the 2.5inch ones is the hard drive uses WD's proprietary hard drive pcb no sata connection whatsoever.

Some people will. Enclosures, and especially the SATA to USB kit inside is very aalluring.

I don't want to OC real high, just 4.05 just to have a 4.0
 
the stock 4770 I'm looking at will do 3.9 without voltage adjustments, but I should with an aftermarket air unit be able to get at least 4.05 without going byound 80c load temps
 
but I don't think the 4770 can go past what is it like 77c. So I might invest in a bigger air unit
