Hi guys,

I currently have ultrasone pro 750 and sony X.

Will RSA P51 mustang complete my portable rig ? The main point of my question is that how good mustang can handle the full size headphone.

I listen to alternative, rock, classic

Thanks for any feedback

Sounds great to me. The 750's are driven very well with the 51, dynamic and great bass. Very musical.

Thanks a lot, jamato8.

I saw you have a bunch of amp. In your collections anything under $400 but sound better mustang. Just want to make sure that I won't miss anything

No two people hear the same. Sure there is often is a general agreement, to an extent, on some amps, that they are good sounding. There are a number of reviews where on many amps. I think the P-51 offers excellent quality both in sound and build. You could even use the Shadow to power the 750's and get the same quality of sound.

I don't think there is anything better, unless you go balanced with the Protector but for single ended the P-51 or Shadow does a fine job.

One more question, you have Ultrasone 750. Did you purchase any short cable ? (stock/DYI)

The 750s are easy to drive so any good amp will do the trick.
I would recommend the Ibasso D4, (you have the DAC option, unless you didnt need the DAC) and sounds very good with the 750s
