I went through a similar type of list, albeit for IEM’s, when I purchased the BLON BL-03Oh, welcome to the natural order of W2 + Traillii ownership, sorry for any spoilers:
1. "Eh just a dongle, should be convenient at least"
2. "Jeez, the soundstage! And the detail. And layering?!"
3. *Checks credit card to confirm it only costs $299 and not $1500*
4. Reevaluate all recent purchases and start considering which mid-fi DAPs to sell off
5. Sell 1-2 mid-fi DAPs
6. Realize that W2 kills your battery
7. Realize that Sp2k/N6Ti is a bit richer/fuller
8. Still GOAT the pairing and live happily ever after

Looks like I’ll have to try the W2…
On another note, I was listening to Nils Frahm’s “Solo Remains” album recorded on this crazy piano..
“the M370, the world’s largest piano, built by the visionary piano maker David Klavins in 1987”
It’s worth a listen as the tonality is different and there’s lots of stuff you don’t hear on a regular piano..
But weirder, and I’ll have to check the time stamp, I was sure I could hear a woman talking out in another room or in a hallway or something. I know it wasn’t “real life” because everyone else in my home was asleep. It was really odd and I wonder if anyone else has heard it. The Traillii are just so resolving and realistic I can’t tell if I’m hearing things or if it is something in the recording I’ve missed on any other gear I’ve used..
**edit.. autocorrect changed Frahm to Graham

Guys, one interesting observation insofar as fit is concerned, I am pleasantly surprised (cos I was reading with concern about the vacuum issue) that the stock ear tips (M) seems to fit with no issues. Plenty of bass etc (I recall @RTodd had that episode when demoing it with Andrew). One day I might test it also with the L ear tips. But currently, the M stock tips work nicely.
But I will say that I am very pleased that the general fit of the Traillii. I am used to customs mostly and have issues with some of the other universal IEMs which are hanging precariously from my ear canal. With the Trailli, no such issue. Which is a real blessing.

I’m quite curious about this brand and exploring getting a Palladium Hybrid. I have read some reviews but I’ll be grateful for any of your thoughts on its synergies (or the lack thereof) with the Bird. Thank you in advance!Time for the Bird and Plussound Tri-Hybrid

I will test with the PPH 4 Wire and let you know.I’m quite curious about this brand and exploring getting a Palladium Hybrid. I have read some reviews but I’ll be grateful for any of your thoughts on its synergies (or the lack thereof) with the Bird. Thank you in advance!
Edit: Oh wow, just tried the Traillii and PPH. First impression is vocals are more bodied and there is a lusher presentation. Similar treble expression and it is touch smoother. There is a deeper bass rumble. The soundstage is similar and there is a touch more width. Can't go wrong with Plussound cables.

I concur.Based off the cable, it looks cheap.
Cmon man, you should know by now that we can’t judge anything that looks cheap from Oriolus…Based off the cable, it looks cheap.

Best packaging for unboxing infront of my wife, she will never know the retail price for the bird..

I just go with my standard line: "oh wow, look what they sent me to review!". Sometimes a little white lie is better than a big black shiner.Never unbox in presence of the wife..
