Haha. I’d say sort out your IEMs first/buy whatever you want and then if you wanna go for the Orpheus make the move. I’m not sure, the DX220 Max was damn insane but I’m not really feeling the whole large DAP again. I will probably try it though.

I'm using the R6 2020 and think it sounds fantastic. I'm sure I'll experiment but so far solid pairing imo

I feel you on that. Not a fan of the big boys.
As far as iems go, I’ll be a traillii fan boy for a very long time. The others are just for my curiosity. I’m hoping traillii and mason fs will be my mains for a very long time.

I'm currently running a 1950 with the erlky and assumed it was as good as it could get. it will be crazy if the orphy can enhance the king even further.

The Orphy is much more "romantic" and loose, not as high energy as the 1950. Totally depends on how you want the Erlky to sound.
