FYI one of the new IEM I found go well with my dp-x1 is the JVC fw01 wood doom. Instrumental music are execptionally well. I think it is the fourth gen wood doom design in its line.

Hey all
Thanks for the help to those before. My player is being sent back for repairs due to me dropping it ! Before I got the case Ouch so for now orfering a temporary Xduoo x3

Anyway really hoping someone can help with this.
I have the rather unknown Musicial Fidelity EB33 earbuds and im thinking of getting the EB50 it says they

Driver: 6mm balanced armature

Does this mean they can work with the balanced DP-X1 output or is this silly noob question ? Lol I expect it is.

If so im wondering if anyone can reccomend either in ear or lightweight headphones which with work with The balanced out.
Headphones that wont break the bank ?
Any suggestions really really apreciated as Im a bit lost when it comes to Balanced gear.

Cheers

i recommend audio-technica ath-e40 with onso 2.5 balanced cable(a2dc type)

Hi there,
I own the Onkyo DP-X1. Good thing, but the max Volume is a bit disappointing. Own a LG V20, not able to listen louder then 55%. I tried 2ith my Sony Mdr Z7.
Are there any ways to increase the volume on the Onkyo?

All on maximum.

I remember Z7 - they are power hungry.
You should switch to Balanced output which has 2 times more power than SE.
That means you should make Z7 balanced (or find another cable with 2.5mm TRRS jack)

Does Dignis not make a black case for the DP-X1? I can't find it anywhere?

This is the one I got. There's also another more expensive one.

Thanks!
Did you have to pay any extra duty or taxes when it came to you? How long did it take to arrive?

I didn't have to pay any duties. I had mine delivered to Vancouver,BC while I was visiting. They use ems shipping which takes just a few days depending on your location.
