Enjoying the DP-X1 for more than a month now.

Paired it with my Oppo PM3, Hifiman HE400i, Bose QC25, Monk+ earbuds, KZ ED9/ATE IEMs, A-jay 3 IEM in both SE and balanced mode + Viper4Android = AUDIO BLISS!!!

Besides the balance out, does the dual dac and amp really make much of a difference over the Pioneer?

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me if it's worth to upgrade from the ibasso DX90 to the onkyo dp-x1?
I'll be combined whit Angie balanced.

Yes I have both and now I almost forgot about my D90 and I am happy with DP-X1 and Angie II combination in BAL mode that is like you are in real studio with artist playing!! thanks

LG and ESS is advertising the V20 phone. How do you think LG will tune the audio components.

o: how will it compare to Onkyo DP-X1. Definitely  I have feeling sound signatures will be different.

I own htc m9 which is quite capable phone with good amp. But due to limitation in hardware size, it cannot compare to dp-x1.

I also tried the G5+ESS dac module, it lacked the driving power even compare to my htc m9.

You are right. I looked at onkyo board. Good amount of space to fit DAC/AMP and cpu on right side.

I can only imagine cramming it all into a phone. Might not be as good.
