To my ears JH Angie or Layla are matched pretty well with DP-X1 sonically instead of Noble K10s

I have tried to start a topic about the distortion issue on the OnkyoUSA forum to get some visibility on the issue.
 
Could others experiencing the issue please add your voice? You should be able to register whether you bought from USA or not.

Sorry to quote my own post, but the Onkyo forum mods say they have passed on the third party app distortion issue to engineers.

I tried connecting my DP-X1 to my Schiit Bifrost via usb without success today.  Tried 5 different (Known to work) OTG cables,  Anyone had/tried this?  Thanks.

Hi MadDane - I took my DP-X1 to work today and hooked up to my Bifrost Uber using OTG and didn't have any issues using the Music app. I played some HDTracks and Flac CD rips and had no issues.

Do you have the Uber or the previous generation? You might need to upgrade the Bifrost if it's the first generation. If you do go Multibit as well. I plan to upgrade as I have the Gumby and it's amazing.

So I started the RMA process. Do you think I should give the Onkyo another chance? I truly love it, but I wouldn't want to have the same thing happen to the replacement. Oh and Dillan, what DAP are you considering?

Onkyo have Club Sound Boost? I cant find it in the setting.... I remember only Pioneer have....

exactly right. Go back a few pages to find the link, download and install. The UI is much nicer that Onkyo's and the base boost is a nice bonus, too.

Still doing research but leaning toward the AK300 or the Acoustic Research M2.

I agree the UI is better than onkyo itself, and the bass boosts sample rate limited to 48kHz
and what's the meaning of eco mode ?
