Would you hope to buy the Utopia’s someday ?? I’ve wanted to own a Focal headphone & considered them for a long time - I think I was swayed by budget, with the HD800S.

I do think that they can sound great, with well produced recordings, but I do why you would come to your conclusions. Did you have chance to listen very long ?

I will definitely consider focal, sennheiser is not anymore what they used to be.

I'm he 800S felt in my hand flimsy - like a cgeap toy that would break if you sit on them.

The utopia scream luxury and craftsmanship, rhey are heavy but very comfortable

I recently discovered how to change the volume on this Sony DMP when you are using a Bluetooth headphone or speaker m.

On the top of the screen below where is the Bluetooth cause it appears (where the audio codec sample rate bit depth usually appears when you are using wired cut phones) below there is a part with a plus an amino's button, besides with the label volume

I just receibed my Sony WF-1000XM5 and despite the DMP being set to LDAC Standard... it shows BLUETOOTH/SBC, ive tried connecting and disconnecting to no avail

Try going into the Headphones Connect app and on the Sound options set it to Prioritize sound quality.

I am loving my utopia 2020.

Very clean fine vass, with a nice punch without bloat. Nice mids and airy silky highs. And a huge soundstage, nice top-tier layering and separation.

I placed an oder for DHC triple threat adapter from Z1R dual 3.5 tofocal lemo, ro use my lavrucanles Grand silver cable on the utopia

Turns out my Lavricanles Grand upgraade cable for my MDR-Z1R has developed a sound cutting intermittently on the Right 3.5mm connector. So i sent it today for repairs (72€ oncluding shipping back to me).

Fiven this either use Z1R woth a pseudo balanced cable or use more my Utopia and keave the sony restfor a while haha

Why don't you use symetric output 4.4mm ? Thé sound with 4.4 mm si better than asymetric output 3.5 mm
