This years NYC Area Fall meet will be held at the Adria Hotel in Bayside (Queens), NY. There should be plenty of room for at least 100+ people. We have two adjoining rooms that will be combined into one.
As usual, all Vendors and Members are welcome.
Donations are welcome to help cover cost of the room, but are not required to attend.
Donations for the "Not so Silent" auction are greatly appreciated. Also, a volunteer to run it would be greatly appreciated.
Meet will be at 8:00am-3:30pm on Sat Nov 9th 2013. We must be out by 4:00pm (Breakdown at 3:30pm)

1) LIRR Train via Penn Station NYC: Take the Port Washington line to Bayside stop (Approx. 30min) Then walk and head east on 41st Rd. towards Bell Blvd. Turn right on Bell Blvd for about .2 mi. Turn left onto Northern Blvd and walk for about .5 mi. It should take about 45 min from Penn.
2) Car via George Washington Bridge: Cross bridge on I-95 N/Cross Bronx Expy -> look for signs for Interstate 295 S/Throgs Neck Br -> Continue onto I-295 S -> Take exit 8 for Cross Is Pkwy S -> Merge onto Cross Island Pkwy -> Take exit 31W for New York 25A/Northern Blvd W -> Turn right onto New York 25A W/Northern Blvd. Destination will be on right.
3) Car via I-495 LIE: Head southwest on I-495 W toward Exit 31 N-S -> Take exit 31 N-S for Cross Island Parkway toward Whitestone Bridge/Kennedy Airport -> Keep right at the fork to continue on Exit 31 N, follow signs for Cross Island Pkwy N/Whitestone Br and merge onto Cross Island Pkwy -> Take exit 31W for New York 25A/Northern Boulevard W -> Turn right onto New York 25A W/Northern Blvd. Destination will be on right.
Both John F. Kennedy Airport and La Guardia are close by for those wanting to fly into NYC.
Some things to note:
• There is plenty of parking.
• Also rooms are available for $119/night plus tax. Just mention Head-Fi when making a reservation.
• There is also WiFi included.
• Food and Beverage is not encouraged out of respect for other members equipment.
• In this thread mention what equipment you intend to bring.
• Also, let us know how many people, yourself included, are planning to attend.
• Be prepared to bring what you need in terms of power strips, extension cords, etc. Tom (Bozebuttons) has some extras he's purchased just in case.
