Obscure utterly dark depressive music? -not EMO or Black or Death Metal

FSoL is too commercial and sterile to me.
Deathstars are pathetic and pointless. I dislike death-metal and anything that sounds like it.

How about some OLD industrial/noise?
Like Throbbing Gristle / Einsturtzende Neubauten / Nurse With Wound / SPK / Cabaret Voltaire / Whitehouse / Zoviet France...

Something existential and dealing with mortality, eternality and the anxiety connectet to that all.

So please no IDM or EBM or anything resembling dance music.
Also no blastbeats and air guitars and band members 'showing horns',
no deathmetal (!) and no funny modern industrial and no electro...
Those musicians must be geeks and it must be recognizable in their music.
Marylin Manson is just an shock-rock entertainer (although I must like him for things like performing in Satan on Fire (christian death-metal act

)

Rather something contemporary classical or - well I don't know I'm going to sleep now...

Both Morphine and Tindersticks are dark/depressive, but maybe not obscure enough to fill the bill.

I didn't know about Morphine until now... Thanks

Thanks for all the help finding me some musick that is more depressive than my self.

How about some really old Industrial - or rather something new sounding "almost like that" (this is a song by TG)?
I love the Throbbing Gristle sound!

I'm going to buck the trend and say the most dark depressing music I've heard is

Pedro the Lion - Control

Which is an indie rock record. You'll have to examine the lyrical content to know how depressing it is though

You could go with drone like Sunn O))), but they're hardly obscure any more. 00 Void or White 2 would be good places to start.
