I'd second I See A Darkness, and Johnny Cash's cover of the eponymous track isn't bad. It features Mr. Oldham singing backup vocals, too.

Finally a contemporary classical composer I haven't even heard of.
Anyway if I weren't boasting enough, I know most of what you've mentioned, I'm a music guru. Maybe I should work for NME
(Or shut up and act depressed as I'm supposed to and stop daydreaming).

I wonder about so many post-rock recommendation.
In slovakia, 99 out of 100 people don't even know what it is.
