I had the Walnut from that seller in my Cart. Perhaps I will change sellers. They do have a 35 day delivery guarantee which the other seller, Rose Electronics I think, is 60 days.

I edited my earlier post to show i bought another from cklewis audio store on aliexpress at the recommendation of another poster here who got his from them.

I got both mine off ebay  and free shipping and no overly long crazy wait.
It's only ~$2 or so  more expensive,  if you want to avoid hassles.

Btw a bit off topic that same creator looks like he has 2 amps also, one a dual 12 volt, and one a dual 15 volt. Soooo tempting. Under the Line Audio branding, at least it looks like the same guy given the probe  measurement pics.
that magic red pack of cigarettes for the size comparison shows up a few places :)

Where are his amps being sold at? Dual mono is awesome.

this is just a guess, similar pics, plus from same initial seller  of Walnut ( and Zishan ) on ebay.
Hard to confirm %100 .Similar style of description.
Using some nice quality jacks (  same Opamp as stock Walnut one in the cheaper of the two BTW )

I have the more expensive of those two, the MG2. It feels very nicely built and hefty in hand. The sound is quite nice, a bit warm. For me, some detail in the bass seems to get more buried in the mix, but I have to try it out with some different headphones to get a better feel for it. I'm curious to try the 12V one to compare.

I absolutely love that it runs on 18650s. Made my day. Hopefully we can get some reviews of these vs other amps as well as some proper output specifications. Don't really need more portable amps right now but if it can push tons of power I'm interested.

MG2 looks like it could maybe beat my bMac..... the bMAc is feeling worried.

It is very very promising that it can push 400mw to 300 ohms. That is awesome. But it can push as low as 16 ohms and there's no maximum output listed for those lower impedances.

vs mini amp a1?

I would easily go with A1 personally. Both amps are +/-12v, the differences are:

A1 is dual mono, MG1S isn't, but you can switch the opamp.
A1 uses two top tier opamps AD797, MG1S uses a single cheap NE5532.
A1 is Class A, MG1S isn't.
A1 output is buffered by discrete transistor array, MG1S output isn't buffered.
A1 uses metal film resistors throughout, MG1S uses regular resistors.
A1 has output protection relay, MG1S doesn't.

MGS1 uses Alps volume pot, A1 uses unknown pot.
MGS1 is gain adjustable, A1 isn't.
MGS1 uses higher capacitance nichicons and wimas.

Hi. I'm looking for a DAP with a good interface and good sound in the the $50-100 USD range.
The Hidizs AP60, Nintaus X10, Xuelin 770c (With Rockbox), and maybe the Fiio M3 are some I have been looking at.
Any suggestions about other players or information about any of these players would be great. I am leaning toward the Hidizs or the Nintaus mainly.
This will be my first Hifi Dap. Thanks for any replies in advance. I already have Piston 3 earphones.

GuywhoLikesHIFI,
I believe M3 is more entry level than the rest. Maybe Xduoo X3 with Rockbox? It has Line Out and dual micro SD slot.
I know, I know, I'm not helping :D

I wouldn't recommend the NiNTAUS X10, it has a pretty dodgy interface and screen is hard to see in sunlight. But oh boy, does it have an amazing battery life.

I'm really interested in the AMOI C10 and might pick it up unless someone else does first:
