Obscure Chinese DAPs

Ordered a Xuelin IHIFI100 amp and resisted the GAD dap.
How your IHIFI100? In spec is awesome for the price. I searched this amp today before read this topic and my first reaction was: this is not as portable as I need. I have station HiEnd Nelson Pass DIY Amplifier using JFETs without negative back loop and build from top tier components.

I ordered ZiShan's GAD DAIII OCL Amp for same size combo with ZiShan DSDs Dual AK4497.

Still waiting for delivery of my Xuelin.
Let us know how you get on with the GAD.

I have a question, see if you can help me, please.
I have several Dongles (Earmen Sparrow, Sonata HD Pro, Sonata BHD) and I like to use them with players. The Tempotec V1-A works very well with them, but the battery life is short.
Do you know of any other DAPS that can be used for transport, with a higher battery capacity, in that price range?
Thanks in advance.

Have you considered using a USB splitter and battery pack to supply the dongle rather than using the source device's battery?

Ummm, it could be an alternative. I guess it must be easy to find a USB cable that splits the data signal, from the power signal. Or do you think you can use any USB hub with a charging input?
Batteries are more common to find and I think I have some.
The set would no longer be more or less portable, but it could work.
Thanks for the advice.

So i have been looking at zishan dsds (the one's with dual ak4497 or single ak4499... Personally just wanted to try the ak4497 or ak4499 and I think they could be used as dacs.. BUT I don't really need another DAP....

are there amp/dacs out there that have the AK4497 or AK4499?

Dear members!Unfortunately i dont have the budget for hiby r3 pro saber. So I am considering to buy a shanling q1 or a hiby r2.Mainly i listen to tidal, and some flac music. So will be better sound on r2 with direct stream, or q1 can handle it via BT with my phone. Can You please help to choose? Is the sound quality from q1 so much better on flac music that i should give up direct tidal stream from r2? That will be my first dap. Thank you

when it comes to budget DAPs i think shanling is better, there is a reason why m0 was so popular..
if your willing to pay 300$ then get hiby r5, otherwise shanling Q1 or m0 are good players.
