Very interesting cqtek. It seem Z3 match better with V-shaped earphones (but that graph at 6.32khz is crazy) while S1 with L-shaped ones (like my Westone ADV Alpha, they hit hard on bass and sub-bass with S1) and X2 with... everything!
That's not much to go on other than price, Benjie S5 is good within that price range, if you don't need Bluetooth get the original and flash the Agptek firmware (the Bluetooth firmware is not compatible with agptek firmware). You can probably get it from Amazon in your country or at least from within Europe for that money, or from AE.Can someone suggest the best cheap dap for 25 euros max. I want something cheap to save my smartphone battery. Thanks.
Are you saying even after opamp rolling the X2 could be better than the Z3?Thank you.
In pic at 6.32KHz I'm playing a 19KHz pure tone. So you can see the roll-off at this frecuency. Also you can see the Z3 15KHz pic with blurred wave, more than S1 an X2 at 19.5KHz.
So I'm happy with my damaged ears because the measurements corroborate the opinions I wrote earlier here about these three DAPs about sound quality:
X2> S1> Z3

Hey I have a few questions about QNGEE X2.I'm saying this:

Which prefer? I don't have any doubt
Can you allow a HiFi player to filter frequencies and change them to other audible tones? When I was playing a 19KHz wave I was hearing a 6Khz wave, as shown in the image ... You may like it more or less, everyone has their own tastes, but in terms of quality I still have no doubt.
Shanling M0?I might have to look outside 'obscure chinese daps' for this, but any recommendations for a shanling m1 upgrade, but something of a similar size? Can be a bit bigger but looking for something fairly small compared to most modern players.
Not sure if that's an upgrade lol. Already own the M1 just looking for something with a different sound. Also not sure about the touch-centric interface on the M0.Shanling M0?
Right. The concept of HiFi is try to respect the original signal most as possible (the so-called Hi-End does this at best) and Z3 does not seem really HiFi.I'm saying this:

I'm not too familiar with the science of it all, but yeah, it does sound bad and I do feel a bit ripped off since it was about $60+ for me to buy. At least you're educating other people to see if it's a worthwhile deal for them. Thanks for that.I'm saying this:
