found it on taobao/tmall, seems most are satisfied with the product. But not much info on the actual specs. Quite interested since its my my budget (sub-100 usd) and seems to have USB-DAC?

The aliexpress shop listed the specs in detail. It is based on AK4376.

thanks, just found the ali link too, its actually SHMCI, lol. SHMA is probably the translator reading off the player and not the actual specs list (Ali correctly states the brand, but doesn't put it on the title itself)

seems it doesn't have USB DAC, which is a pity. Strongly leaning towards the Moonlight M1 or Shanling M0 now (or getting a Fiio Q1MkII).

N6, of course and if it's costly then go for L&P L3 but only use the balanced output.

I brought uncle Fluke home to do some measurements on the DAPs Zishan Z3, F.Audio S1 and QNGEE X2. The measurements have been made with pure tones at maximum power over 32 Ohms.

Zishan Z3 (poor linearity):

Very interesting cqtek. It seem Z3 match better with V-shaped earphones (but that graph at 6.32khz is crazy) while S1 with L-shaped ones (like my Westone ADV Alpha, they hit hard on bass and sub-bass with S1) and X2 with... everything!
