Yes, I see now how that would be great for many people. Just not me. I would have a big mess. I just finished listening to Leonard Cohen - Dear Heather ( full album) and now I enjoying Massive Attack - Mezzanine and I am going to have to finish the album. Can't stop. I think my head would explode if shuffled the mix of genres that is on my cards. LOL
Good thing there are so many choices of daps available. Happy to have this site to help us make a choice.

The way I use these players is to convert whole albums to WAV, that way in a 64gb card can have around 100 albums at any one time. Hard to organise, but the sound on the Walnut V2 and Zishan Z1 make it worth it. I don't have them as my only player, as I like the option of all my stuff in one place and easy to access - but they're a fun addition. And can also be used as an amp to another player.
Actually I remember hearing of it but never had one. My first player was an IRiver 20gb..can't remember the model. It must be somewhere around here...probably dead. I wonder what is on it.
I never shuffle ever so those screenless players would not suit me. Strictly an album listener.

You're not alone
Just ordered the Sony NW-A35 and the Cayin N3 from JoyBuy. The collection keeps growing.
Next on the list is the 1More four driver IEM (very cheap @ JoyBuy atm but out of stock).

Just curious and anxious, how many days did it take to send your order?
I bought shanling m2s, already 6 days ago and still have not sent, I sent a message to them, but they informed that they have already been packaged but it was not collected by the carrier.

They say on their website that it may take 7 days to send it off but they usually do it (almost) right away.
It will take several days, up to a week, until the tracking number is available on the site and then it will be under "Tracking Details", NOT under "View Order Details".
Because it was my first order I was a bit scared something would go wrong so I sent them 2 messages. The last message they had the tracking number but I then saw it was already on the site too.
The order took 12 days from order till delivery so all 'n' all that was quite quick.
When they (actually the postal service mostly) are that fast this time the order will be delivered while I'm on vacation so I have something to play with when I come home if our neighbours accept it for us.
Edit: They marked the Sony and Shanling as sent the day they received the order (for them I ordered during night time).
Now I know it will take several days before the tracking codes show up on their site I won't worry.
Hello, I've owned the Agptek IMP for almost 9 months now, which has lost its screw that keeps the back panel in place. In addition, the battery life has taken a noticable dip, and my music library is expanding beyond the 64 GB the IMP can handle at max in regards to SD card storage. I'm looking for a replacement DAP within the $50 price range - I've decided that I'd like a bigger screen size than the IMP's, so the Benjie S5 is out of the question. Long battery life is also something I would like to consider as well as functionality (Holding out for a DAP with a potential Rockbox port). I found a seller on AliExpress that is selling the Benjie T6 (V1; the edges of the player are sharper, NOT rounder like V2) for $44.28 (Cad$) and the Benjie X1 for $26.66 (Cad$). If anyone has either or both of these might they please provide me with their input and suggestions on which one to get? I would really appreciate it, and thank you so much! I use the KZ ZS5 as my daily IEMs, btw.

The T6 was meant to be getting a Rockbox port but I haven't heard anything about that for a while now. The T6 sounds a little better than the X1 but it has a much shorter battery life (around 15 hours). The X1 has crazy good battery, like 50 hours or more.
I've had the Benjie X1 and the Benjie M28 and I can conclusively say that the M28 is better.
First off the corners are better, second the X1 has a very very noticeable clicking/tapping sound in audio when the screen is on, and there is a huge POP when you plug and unplug your earphones. The M28 has none of these problems, and the physical buttons are better and the sound quality may have been a bit better, however I never had the chance to do an A/B test.
Also for navigation on the Z2/Z1, when paused the left and right buttons will skip the folder (That you arrange as an album), and when it is playing and you use the left and right buttons, it will skip the songs inside each of the folders and move on to the next.
Much better than I thought, and it can be used as an extremely good value sound card in which case UI no longer matters.
My old Ruizu X02 makes a ticking noise when the screen is on but only if there is no Album Art. When then is no Album Art there is an animated display and the ticking keeps time with the moving display.
