[Melvins]

From my current sr125i's. Was looking at the Senn. HD650's, AKG's, and a higher grado model. ANy suggestions? Would be powered by PA2v2 for now but would probably upgrade from that upon getting new cans.

yeah, sludge/doom metal, indie rock, some hip hop but not much. Movies are a big thing as well so a great soundstage would be swell

If you plan to go out of the grado line, you can check the  AKG K240's. I've heard good things about them (like they are good with rock/metal) and are well detailed. 
They are worth checking.

Thanks. The 650 Senn seemed like a decent bet, plus I really dig the look. My other sennheisers are nice but the chord busted on the first pair.
