Since we can not make a decent L7! we already stop the developing of L7, replace with a new line out kit! and it can be used in our other new products!

I like it alot nicer than the L7, just 1 thing though having the usb and 3.5mm jack close in a circuit like that with no shielding won't there be interference???

Don't worry,  there are not any problem! the line out signal is high level signal!

No this is for the E7 (and I assume the newer portable amps). It allows the E7 to be used as a DAC only, so you can use it with other amps, and the like. This is unnecessary for the E7 if you plan on only using it with the E9.

Don't know what else Fiio has in store for this lod, but looks interesting if it's gonna be standardized for future Fiio products...

I don't have a direct need for it yet, unless I wanna test out the E7 with non-Fiio tube amps. I am more than satisfied with the E9 as my only solid state amp.

The L8 ( 3.5 L type to 3.5 L type ) will be released in Jan 2011;
 
The L7 (LOD for E7 and our X3) will be released in Feb 2011;
 
The L9 ( iPod L type to 3.5 L type ) will be released in Feb 2011;
 
The new mold almost ready , maybe I can put some photo in the early of  Jan!

what do the other cords do?
