Regarding the AK ripper, I do believe that AK has made Ultima as a new product line, completely not compatible with older accesorries, be that AK recorder, AMP or the docking station too. It is similar to the situation when they first introduced AK3xx product line and it was not compatible with AK120, AK240 and others. So I would bid the ripper farewell, unfortunately. There may be a new one - or may not.

PS I would definitely consider buying a SACD to DSD ripper
PPS However, the AK recorder DOES record vinyls to DSD...

The current CD Ripper is compatible with the SP1000, as well as with any of our other Wi-Fi enabled players.

We cannot do SACD to DSD ripping because of licensing and copyright issues. If licensing does become available to offer that in the future, it is something that AK would look into offering.

when I received the DAP, it was already under the firmware 1.03, the last version.
I have checked, the version is : 1.03CM
I got the DAP it is about one week now, I think I have 2 weeks with the seller to send back in case of serious issu ... for exchange (maybe).

Passed this onto our HQ customer support team. Hope to have an answer for you when they get into the office.

Make sure, your Adapter is not "OTG" and you will be fine

It is usually the case of the adapter problem. I tried USB C to micro USB both with direct wire and another through adapters to do USB audio out. The one with adapters can never get to work.

Yep
The adapter works fine to charge or transfer file to the SP1000, but seems not working on steaming audio

Next time will try a USB C to micro cable, no more adapter
