Tidal Master files sound very good to me. With Roon support later on this year, it just makes my SP1K CU that much more of a keeper.

@JasonNYC: Do you maybe have info why APK does not work yet, since on the android phones with MQA support tidal APK works with master? Since having MQA and not having offline mode (which is only reserved for APK) is again limited use Thanks for feedback in advance.

Jason thanks for your swift and honest answer. I guess for vacation without wifi the apk client without master will suffice for now and for main home use native app with master.

Beyond late to the party but never late is better. I picked up a Dignis Alcantara case for my SP1000. Very nice fit compared to the original one, incredibly snug. Better tactile feedback from the buttons on the left side and quite a joy to hold.

Yes, once connected via USB, when you swipe down from the top, you should see the External USB icon lit up. Press it to enable USB Audio out. Once pressed, it should say in small letters under the icon "USB Audio" to indicate it is outputting audio via USB.
