Any one heard these yet ? Seems like they are using the same drivers but a slightly different housing.

There also a new IE x0 series. They all seem to have the same drivers, if only some one can tell me what they are actually like.

New model announcements at IFA off the top of my head:

IE60
IE80

HD219
HD229
HD239

HD419
HD429
HD439
HD449

RS220

(CXC700, CX215, and MX365 were all announced earlier this year.)

So... Nothing higher end then?

I'm sure Sennheiser would argue that their flagship wireless RS220, which will supposedly retail for around 400 EUR, should be considered high end.

But to answer your question as I understand it: No, nothing "higher end" was announced (as far as I know).

Still waiting for a HD800 that doesn't come build like a poorly painted plastic sculpture. For god's sake, the thing feels cheaper then the HD4xx series.

I think the word is delicate, like you don't want to drop them. I don't feel like they're very cheap feeling, but I guess they aren't as beefy as the LCD2s either.

From what I'm reading, RS 220 is actually high-end...not exactly more than HD 800, but they seem have the same driver and performance equal to that of HD 600 or HD 650 (probably the best of both world, lol).

Anyway, it'll be interesting when a wireless headphone has the same quality with that of a reference class wired headphone...but is it a gimmick? or is it true? We would never know unless someone has tried it and post a review. :)

when will these come out, hd 25 adidas or waiting for the 439 or 449

HD25, the 439 and 449 should just be a reshelled version of the original 438 and 448, shouldn't sound that different. Not to mention those will be sold for retail price since they are new. You can also consider the standard HD25 and buy replacement parts for a color mod.

Which headphone do you prefer and what signature do you want?

Dont think there's much comparison between hd25's and 439 / 449,  unless they sound twice as good as 438's and 448's,  then hd25's are
better headphones.

Really just reshelled?? Well I've heard the hd428, and I loved the sound signature, IMO I just wished the bass would extend deeper and it could play some deep bass with a lot of bass decay, like in dubstep or something. The hd438 and the hd25 seem to have that, then the hd448 just seems like a much better version of a hd 428.

I apologize ahead for the month-old bump, but these headphones were just released on sites like NewEgg and I was wondering if anyone got a hand on the HD 219, 229, or 239 and could offer an opinion or just from specs alone. I was leaning towards the HD 229 because I really like the look of the white/orange design and the details sounded nice. I really want some new portables and am only looking for the newest releases for that. Thanks!

If these are just updates from the 218, 228, 238 - then pretty much you are looking at more bass with each bump up. Not much else.

Frankly, for the money - I'd look elsewhere. Senn makes some great cans, but these are not they - IMO.
