I was listen to Anne Bisson's cd Blue Mind, and with the K702 it sounded like something in her voice was missing, and it was really harsh, with these it was more natural, sometimes a little harsh also, but its more of the tracks fault.

But take what i say with a grain of salt, as my right ear is not good, i have to lower the Left side around 6 to 8db to compensate for it. GRRR

Thanks for Anne Bisson, didn`t know that artist. Listened to that album for a little and yes, those vocals sound great on X1. Maybe You didn`t like vocals on K702 because they are more intimate (should be, I don`t have K702 myself). X1 vocals presentation should be littlebit more out of the head, further away, making it sound more "live" and natural. Am I correct?

That album has no tampering in it, it sounds amazing, listen to September in Montreal (AMAZING SONG), i think your right, they were more forward on the K702.

Are the X1 good for gaming and can I use a boommic with it? If yes, how does it work with the boom mic?

Also, what soundcard should I get, when using it with a pc? I am currently owning a creative z, haveing not a problem to send it back.

Are there any alternatives? How does it stand against AKG K*** or the Beyodynamics?

Thanks for the help guys

Oh my. You should do some research by Your own if You are asking questions like that. Just few post back there was impressions between K702, not to mention several reviews and comparsions on head-fi forum alone. They are even @ mad lust envy gaming headset review: http://www.head-fi.org/t/534479/mad-lust-envys-headphone-gaming-guide-update-4-17-2014-akg-k612-and-k712-pro-added-edits

Thanks for that, didn't know that.

But I can't find anywhere, if I need a soundcard like xonar essence STX or keeping my current one

Imo X1`s do benefit from littlebit amping but I have no idea about soundcards amping specifications. But I do like ELE EL-D02 DAC/Amp (with exchanged capacitors) over my onboard integrated audio and I recommend to try this cheap solution for X1.

Why not? People have different preferences... I really didn't like the September in Montreal song you posted.

I have to agree; I really don't like Sennheiser in general... Not that they aren't quality, but they are just not what I'm looking for in audio. I haven't listened to more than 4 pairs but they were all either in the same price range or even more expensive. They are actually the reason I stayed away from open-ears design for so long.
