Hey guys, what is the max external storage capacity of PD2? Is it 128gb (Amazon says so) or 256gb or even higher? Its confusing cuz I am reading different things lol. What's the exact storage capacity?

Then you will understand why some people are convinced it works whereas it was tested and in fact it doesn't work above about 129GB. It's a limitation of the hardware.

Just tested, it's hard to find files that are on the upper side of the 129 gb with so much files. But indeed I found a few and it crashes when try to play, this is a shame... I have a lot of files on the memory but never had any (until now)that makes it crash... :frowning2:

Just got my hands on the PD2. The 24bit test tracks already on the player sounds heavenly thru my Fearless S8F. If find it sonically better than my old Plenue D (from the single end itself) My last dap was D but it was quiet a while back and just upgraded to D2.
I somehow can't figure how to get my music in there, I've added my Sandisk ultra 128gb card which is on exFAT format but it's not showing. If my memory is right the D used to auto update the tracks, thought the PD2 does the same or am I missing something here? Please help Cowon family.

Did you turn the PD2 off before inserting the card?

(and I mean off, not sleep mode)

Yes I did turn it off before inserting the card. It can play files that I copied on the players internal memory no problems but not reading my card. The card has no issues it's new. Tried a different SanDisk as well but even that's not reading.

When you connect the PD2 to your PC, can you see the card on the PC?

Have you copied any music to the card?

I've had the same with a 256gb card. I used guiformat (needs to be this tool) after this everything worked on the plenue (ofcourse only the 129gb of the 256gb but atleast it's recognized)
Thanks to you brother. The format tool I tried did convert it to FAT32 but PD2 didn't recognize it. After your suggestion, I tried guiformat and it did the magic!
