Welcome aboard!! As an aside, I am quite happy with my HD681 Evo. Very nice sound for the modest outlay and the bass is terrific. For what it's worth. Good luck.

Hi serman005, thanks very much for the warm welcome. I have the 668Bs, I like the look of yours cause the headband looks very comfortable. It's not a huge deal on the 668s, the pads are more irritating. I do think the sound is very reasonable for such a low price, that's why I'm quite tempted to buy replacements and then I can take my time and research some extra special open back ones if I decide I want to upgrade.

How do I post an article? I have found something that might hype everyone around here.
Edit: Or not. Curse Innerfidelity, I was getting my hopes high with a new Koss electrostatic amplifier- It's a Mjolnir Carbon CC.

Hello all! I started out more as a musician, then got into audio mixing, and looking for ways to upgrade my monitoring setup, started getting into HiFi. It’s been an interesting journey, and I can certainly say that head-fi has been a great resource, so sincere thanks to everyone’s contributions!
