New Member Introductions thread

I am new to the forum. I have had a pair of open Sennheiser HD558 for a few years for use at home and a closed pair of Sennheiser HD280pro for work. I got the HD280pro after enjoying the HD558 but could never get used to the HD280pro as they clamp my head to death. Recently I decided to investigate replacing the HD280pro and ... oh man ... I've fallen down the rabbit hole.

So far, in the journey to replace the HD280pro at work, I have managed to add a Micca Origen G2 USB DAC/Amp at home and a pair of open SHP9500 at home. How am I doing so far?

Hi Soundsop.
My name is Athenazephyrian, and I'm also a headphoneaholic.

Hello My name is Chris
I'm new here and I am looking for another pair of MDR-D77s

You're looking to buy those specifically? Or a pair kinda like them?

If you know what you want, check out the "for sale and trade" forums. :)

Hi, I've been here a long time but never bothered to make an account. Now, I want to attend a Head-Fi meet near me in November, and I realized I can't reply yet. Also, just wanted to say Hi!

There is a forum that lists upcoming local & informal meets....here's the link.
https://www.head-fi.org/forums/local-regional-head-fi-meets-parties-get-togethers.24/

There are also the BIG meets aka CanJams. They merit their own special forum...
https://www.head-fi.org/threads/can...-singapore-socal-london-rmaf-shanghai.860196/

Local meets = people like you and me bring our gear and listen to it.
There are lots of Head-Fi members located in the Bay Area...

CanJams = organized by Jude and Head-Fi, the gear sponsors let you listen to their gear (and buy it), they also make new product announcements + hold technical forums.

Hope this helps -
