Hi, I'm new here and I am looking for recommendations on wireless headphones on the cheap side.

Welcome to Head-Fi! What's your budget and what type of sound are you going for?

I'm actually trying to decide between Sennheiser RS120-8 II and AKG K915.

What do you say?

I haven't listened to either of those but for around the prices of the two you mentioned, I would recommend the Puro Sound Labs BT5200. Comfortable and lightweight. Great sound for the price, and in Bluetooth mode there is a LED light that changes from green to red depending on how loud the music is, helping to preserve your hearing.

It has to have a 3.5mm jack so I can attach it to my computer and piano. I'm not sure that model is available in my country...

It does. Check it out on purosound.com. If you can't get it, PM me and I will see what I can do for you.

Hello Head-Fi,

My name is Kyle. I'm new member here and I only got to know this site because of a friend. I heard from him that this is a great place to learn more about audio, especially help on what headgear to buy. So I'll cut right to the chase. I just recently bought an Audio Technica M-50X and I am quite happy with the sound quality. It is my first dive to higher-audio equipment from my standard apple earpods. I am planning to buy a new set of in-ear earphones since the M50X's are too big and bulky to carry around. My budget is $250 and I might go up to $270. I listen to most genre's especially hip-hop, EDM, pop, and rock and I rarely listen to country and jazz. If you could recommend an earphone that is in my budget (preferably of a different sound signature so that I could widen my experience ) I would really appreciate it. Anyways I will be looking forward to your recommendations and reviews. Thank you!

Hello. I am new and happy to be here. I have been downsizing and getting into computer audio more and more since I first got a Squeezebox Touch maybe 8 years ago. But I haven't had a set of headphones since my dog ate my $80 Grados back about 2010. I still use the Squeezebox Touch but also have about 1000 cds on an NAS + a Tidal Subscription and run Roon on a Windows 10 laptop, USB2.0 out to an Emotiva DC-2 DAC/Pre- into  Dynaudio powered bookshelfs on Target stands - Focus 110A, I think. Also, I am using a Regen gadget and running Fidelizer Pro. The little Emotiva has a line input so I also listen to records using a Pro-ject turntable with a broken cue lift and a Bugle2 phonostage.

So I didn't have any headphones but the DAC/Pre has a headphone section, so I went shopping for headphones less than $1000. I went to Audio Advice in Raleigh, where I have bought a lot of stuff through the years. I listened to everything they gave me but what I liked best from both comfort and sound quality standpoint turned out to be Grado GS1000e. So that is what I brought home with me. I know the Grados were broken in better than the Senns and the Audeze and the Nighthawks, etc. But what can you do about that? And the Grados seemed to fit best.

I really like the GS1000e's, garden hose cabling notwithstanding. And I like the functionality of the Emotiva DAC/Pre/HA, but I wonder if that might be the weak link in my system now. Any ideas for good combo DAC/Pre-/HA's that would shine with the GS1000e's? Thanks...

Hi guys, I signed up here because I've seen that this forum is really useful to learn a lot about audio, equipment etc. I currently own two headphones: Superlux HD-681 EVO for desktop usage and Sennheiser HD202 for outdoor usage. I'm currently looking for a soundcard or dac+amp to drive better my Superlux.

Hey everyone. I'm fairly new to audio equipment. I've had the magni 2 uber/modi 2 uber for about a year now. I recently bought a used bifrost uber with usb and a vali. My main headphones are the sennheiser hd 600's and the beyerdynamic dt 880's(250ohm). They get alot of use! I can see myself getting into speakers in the future.
